Shop Larimar Cabochons gemstones for jewelry design or making, natural Larimar Cabochons loose stones for sale online.
A rare form of pectolite, Larimar is a stone usually with a dazzling powder blue saturation similar to the color of the ocean and the (blue) skies. Other color variations of the stone include white, greenish blue and deep blue, usually with streaks of white--yet sometimes may have red and brown streaks as well. Larimar stones with deeper blue colors are rare and usually priced high. In the Mohs scale, the stone scores between 4.5 to 5, which means that it is relatively brittle and need professional stone cutting skills in order to produce high-quality and fashionable jewelry-making materials like cabochons and beads.
Our Larimar cabochons feature high-quality and highly-polished cabochons that come in differentsizes in oval, pear, rectangle and fancy shapes of mostly soft-edged and slightly distorted geometrical shapes. Most of our Larimar stone cabochons have powder and light blue hues with white patches and streaks, which make them look a lot like faded jeans. However, we also have a few multicolored ones that feature greenish blue tones with dark grey (to black) spots and patches. There are items that you can buy in solos, and there are also those that can be purchased in pairs or in sets.
Larimar stones are perfect for making any jewelry piece, especially bracelets, but should be taken care of as long exposure to sunlight may affect its color. Aside from the fact that they are soothing, they suit both men and women and can be worn on any occasion--casual or formal.
